Our seniors were honored at Saturday's home baseball game versus Mounds Park Academy. Parents and first-grade buddies joined in to congratulate our seniors on a great season and a great career at Breck School.

Our New York-area alumni gathered at in the city for a Breck alumni event. The trip coincided with Dulcenee Walsh's annual AP Art History trip to NYC. It's so great to see so many familiar faces!

The Class of 2015 celebrated Baccalaureate on Sunday, May 31. Baccalaureate marks the beginning of Commencement Week for our seniors.

Section Track & Field Meet

Our boys and girls track teams competed at the Section 4A Meet on Saturday, May 30. The girls team finished in 2nd place overall and the boys team finished in 3rd place overall. We're sending several individuals and relay teams on to the State Meet. Congratulations Mustangs!

Our Middle School Closing program was in the afternoon on June 1. There were two eighth-grade speeches, the girls Chamber Singers performed, and the Class of 2019 are now Upper Schoolers. Congratulations, everyone. Have a great summer!

Our Lower School celebrated the end of another school year, and we promoted the Class of 2023 to Middle School. The theme was "Silly and Sweet," which included many songs with hand gestures, facial expressions ... you'll see!

The Class of 2016 met their first-grade buddies yesterday. Lots of initial nervous smiles, then off to the Chapel to see where they'll sit this year for All-School Chapels.


Senior Weekend / Junior Camp

The Class of 2016 kicked off the school year by spending the night at Breck an several other activities. And the Class of 2017 spent their first day of school at Feed My Starving Children where they packed 175 boxes of food for shipment overseas. Great work! Eighth-Grade Students Visit Milkweed Publishing

Our eighth graders visited Milkweed Publishing today. They spent the day learning the behind-the-scenes side of the publishing business. One of today's sessions had the students making a print — they each designed a letter, which was part of an agreed-upon phrase, and then they each made a print of their design.

All-School Chapel: Convocation 2015

Our first All-School Chapel was held on Tuesday, Sept. 8. This "Convocation" chapel is the official beginning of the school year — and marks the first chapel where seniors and first-grade buddies sit together.

BAM: Middle School Kicks Off Be A Mustang Program

Our Middle School students kicked of our BAM program for the 2015-16 school year. Each grade has a theme, and each advisory created their own square to be added to the overall mural, which will hang in the MS Dining Room all year.
BAM (Be A Mustang) is defined here: "A Mustang is respectful, helpful, inclusive, and knows when to stand up." Very cool, guys!
